Mytogen was formed from the “incubator” which was developed by Labtech International Ltd. to incubate small and start up tech businesses over the last twenty years.
Labtech was originally formed in 1993 as a distribution and service company serving the life science market. As an operating company, Labtech operated from its own premises with its own sales, marketing, accounting, operations, logistics and other functions. In 1995, Labtech began incubating its first start up company, Combitech Ltd. Over the years, Labtech incubated numerous start ups and small companies, developing a high level of expertise in this role while still continuing to grow as a distribution and service company serving the life science market. As the number of companies being incubated grew, two substantial and different business models were operating and being developed within Labtech.
In January 2015, it was decided that the incubation business should be spun out as a separate operating company, focusing on incubating and serving other businesses. This left Labtech to focus on its development, as a distribution and service company serving the life science market.
Mytogen now provides services to independent companies, mainly in the technology field. These services range from incubation of start ups through back office support for small companies to specialist services to large international operating companies.

Dr Brian Page
After a period in academia, Dr Brian Page worked for a number of multinational companies, starting as a technical sales representative and finishing as a managing director. He formed Labtech International Limited in 1993 and has since formed, acquired, developed and sold a number of life science businesses. After 35 years, he has an extensive knowledge of the life science industry and markets. Dr Page is an entrepreneur with a strong interest in business management and development, particularly in relation to start ups, acquisitions and exits.
Veronique is a professional and competent Executive / Personal Assistant having worked for top executives in the Public and Private Sectors. She has advanced IT knowledge and skills that compliment her excellent secretarial and professional experience.
Patricia Sturgess ACMA
Patricia is a qualified CIMA Management Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in the development and implementation of financial and operating policies, systems and processes in many fast growing companies and industries. She has also been heavily involved in many acquisitions, due diligences, new company setups, grant applications, bank loans and all the relevant documentation that is required.
